How often should I train?

Most students train one or two times per week. As your skills develop, you may choose to attend additional sessions to accelerate your progress.

Is your school competition focused?

No. Unlike many martial arts schools, we don’t focus on tournaments or competitive grading. Our emphasis is on personal growth, self-improvement, traditional training and learning practical self-defence.

Is Kung Fu good for fitness?

Absolutely. Every class combines cardiovascular exercise, strength training, flexibility, balance and coordination while also improving focus and mental well-being.

What should I wear to my first class?

Comfortable sports clothing and enclosed training shoes are ideal for your first lesson. Once you decide to continue training, we’ll advise you about our training uniform.

What ages can join LTL Kung Fu School?

Our school welcomes children, teenagers, adults and seniors. We believe everyone can benefit from learning traditional Kung Fu regardless of their age or ability.

What style of Kung Fu do you teach?

We teach the traditional Chinese martial art of Jow Ga Kung Fu, a highly respected style that combines both northern and southern Shaolin techniques. It focuses on practical self-defence, fitness, discipline, coordination, and personal development.

Do I need any previous martial arts experience?

Not at all. Our classes are designed for complete beginners through to experienced martial artists. Our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of Jow Ga Kung Fu at a pace that suits your experience and fitness level.
